We adopted two PET rats from the pet shop on Saturday. One of them is doing well and seems to warming, but the other stays at home all the time. Apparently he is very afraid of us, but I wonder whether it is the only reason for his behavior, or might have health problems? It seems slow and I have not seen the room here. This can be simply out of fear or pain? There is nothing wrong with him outside, but I have never seen a rat, which is not so curious and anxious. We'll get him to a vet as soon as possible, I wonder if it does not know what is wrong with him be. Is it just the normal signs of anxiety? On a related note, we leave the cage often, even if we have the strength, or make it afraid of? There is no way (left to themselves or) even have breakfast on us.
